Vennar Basin Hydrology & Irrigation (India)

Jomiso developed comprehensive hydrological and hydraulic models for six major rivers within the Vennar Sub-basin of Tamil Nadu’s Cauvery Delta. This project plays a vital role in strengthening irrigation infrastructure and ensuring efficient water distribution for over 4.8 million people across the region.

The initiative, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the “Climate Adaptation in Vennar Sub-basin in Cauvery Delta Project”, focuses on integrating climate resilience and sustainable irrigation management to secure livelihoods and enhance agricultural productivity in one of India’s most crucial delta regions.
